Division Chief of Fire Prevention Larry Williams is responsible for overseeing the Fire Prevention Bureau. In this role he takes the lead in all fire inspections of commercial buildings, fire investigations, permitting, and fire prevention for Sanibel Island. Division Chief Williams ensures that fire codes are followed and that all commercial buildings comply with these codes.

Chief Williams holds Fire Safety Inspector certifications and many other fire safety code certifications.
